Jacksonville fun

Interstate 10 runs East to West (or vice-versa if you prefer), ending in Santa Monica and the Pacific Ocean in Los Angeles, California, and starting in Jacksonville, Florida, just a handful of miles from the Atlantic. Well on the Eastern coast of things I'm an assistant producer for The Sam Kouvaris Sports Show on 1010XL, and as such run the Twitter account which can be found at www.twitter.com/samsportsline. We do local and national sports news and broadcasts, and as per my responsibilities I'll be keeping up-to-date with all the latest happenings in the sports world.

I'm a huge baseball fan myself, still finding it to be the most appropriate case for America's pastime, despite what (American) football fans say about its declining popularity amongst the eagle-minded folk. The tactics, athleticism, and mental respects of the game are just as intense if not more so than many other "major" sports worshipped in America, and it gets a lot of undue bashing by ignorant haters. But that's a blog for another time.

I'll be writing a lot of stories about happenstance on and off the field, and will probably cover a variety of national sports stories on this blog. Consider this a primer for all the awesomeness that will come along in that vein.
